While we all anxiously await any real official news of the "we want it" 4th studio LP from French producers Daft Punk, we're cool to sit inside the rumor mill and spread some news we've heard through the grapevine. Or the Internet. You know... one in the same. URB notes:
"The robots asked the Munich Machine to go into a vocal booth and speak about his life. In the studio were multiple microphones of various vintages from the ’60s to today. When Moroder asked the engineer why they had so many mics, he replied that the mic they would use would depend on what decade of his life he was speaking about. When Moroder asked if anyone would know the difference, the engineer replied “They will know.”
During this chat, which took place at the International Music Summit, Chic's Nile Rodgers was in the audience, and we've already divulged word on his association with Daft Punk. Also, there's that whole thing about Paul Williams, so get ready for the best album ever. Still very much TBA.
