Earlier this morning (way way waaaay earlier this morning if we're talking Aussie time), New Zealander Ladyhawke traveled to the down under radio station triple j for an acoustic session. Performing cuts from recent album, Anxiety, the pre-dawn listeners were treated to renditions of Blue Eyes (from said LP) and a cover of the essential Jefferson Airplane tune, White Rabbit. Ladyhawke brings a little piece of wonderland to the triple j studios with this fairly straight forward take on the classic, which she says she's always wanted to do, but only recently decided it to be.
The video version is below, and for more triple j stuff to click on, head here to revisit when the station's own Dom Alessio filled in on EVR's Authentic Shit earlier this year, highlighting the best in new Aussie jams.
