Change Up

ChangeUp Fest! is happening today in Baltimore. The festival is being hosted by the magazine which it is named after and is a bargain of a festival at $15 to see all 15 bands.
The lineup consists of mostly bands and rappers from Baltimore and other Maryland towns but there are a few groups from New York, two of which you may have seen last week during CMJ,The Beatards and Gunfight!. There is a pretty wide spread array of music genres so it seems a good deal for anyone with $15 to spare.

The affordability of the festival fits in with the credo of the magazine. ChangeUPMag.com is an online zine directed towards adults and young people living in Baltimore, NYC, Philly, and Washington D.C. who are trying to make ends meet and still enjoy their rich and colorful cities. They provide news on events, cheap eats, cheap bars, and how to live on chump change, something we all know pretty well. They even have recipes and restaurant reviews, but they do fail to mention the greatness of Little Frankie's, a big mistake on their part. All the same, it's a good site with good advice when traveling to these cities or living in them.
