This is pretty cool; New York based DJ, Frank Gossner (AKA DJ Franc; AKA Soulpusher), went on a three-year record-digging expedition in West Africa. With Conakry, the capital of Guinea, as his home base, Frank traveled through various countries in the region, including Sierra Leone, Ghana and Bening, with the goal of finding as many vintage African records as possible — and what he found will blow you away.

It’s called Lagos Disco Inferno. And you can click on the highlighted tracks for a taste.
