Time Time gets a visit from Nite Jewel

November 23rd marks yet another special day with a visit from Ramona G. AKA Nite Jewel. I only just found out that she would be performing here with Röyksopp (at Webster Hall), so this last minute information was a pleasant surprise.

 

Ramona seems to have had a nice past with NYC, what with living here for some time and having had early support from the venerable Other Music, so hopefully her EVR experience further enhances her perception of this protean city. On the other hand, I'm sure her reception will be yet another warm one, at least it will be on this front. She has been producing some of the most charmingly un-intrusive and intriguing electronic-based music of the past couple of years, and it definitely is easy on the ears. She has some new releases coming up, so in between selecting what promise to be crystalline jams, perhaps we will discuss the future of Nite Jewel...
